The Ministry of Risk Management is involved in the areas of safety, security, liability, and protection of church assets and resources. We want to use our talents, assets, and resources in ministry and service, and any threats thereto have to be addressed in order to maintain the health and safety of the church and its members, especially the most vulnerable.
The ministry of Risk Management does not simply mitigate risks and liabilities. Risk Management also provides education to church leadership and members in avoiding situations that endanger the health and safety of those who minister.
Every single church officer, employee, and volunteer must complete child abuse and sexual harassment training every three years in addition to passing a background check. The training and background check can be completed at ncsrisk.org/adventist. New officers, employees, and volunteers must complete the training and background check PRIOR to employment or engaging in ministry under the name of the Palm Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church.
